About LMS
Lowcountry Montessori School (LMS) is a K - 12 free, nonprofit, state-chartered public school which opened in Beaufort County in August 2014 and provides an authentic Montessori-based program to students from Beaufort and surrounding counties. We serve PreK 3 and 4 students through a fee-based program. Because we are state-chartered, students from all counties in South Carolina are eligible to attend.

Tours are typically Tuesdays at 9:45 am - They are currently suspended until further notice. due to the COVID-19 school closures. Please call Mrs. Rose to schedule yours once the school closure has lifted. 843-322-0577.

New Front Office Hours are M, Tu, Th, and F 8-11 am, Wednesday 7am -6pm

To minimize any contact, items for families to pick up or drop off will be left on the porch, as arranged with the office. Utilization of the mailbox on the front porch will also be a means of drop off.
